Story behind a name

Mine was actually a combination of things. I had always repressed both my bratty aspects and my dominant side by extension and thought myself submissive only. It was only after exploring online that I began to explore both more. While doing so I discoered that princess a name I had always felt condicending and had negative feelings about as a result acctually became rather more fitting, both in how it had me feeling more subby in a good way when used mockiingly and very nice when used enderingly in a more dommy mindset :P I also discovered how important to me the bratty nature I have is (and more importantly that it isnt bad)

In short it became supper fitting for the journey I had taken exploring (:

Well, about 22 years ago, when the internet was still young, people introduced me to a little game called Runescape. One of the amazing features of Runescape is you need an account name. This was my first exposure to the concept of being whoever you want on the internet, so I was quite amazed that not only could I pick any name I wanted, but I actually couldn't pick my birth name because it was already taken.

Now faced with the infinity of alphanumeric combinations available to me I thought "what do i like... Pokemon!" The main protagonist of the Pokemon anime was Ash Ketchum, so i made my name Ash2000456. Ash was also taken already so I though "you want numbers? I'LL GIVE YOU NUMBERS!"

Now I've had many nicknames throughout the years, but Ash has always stuck around. So as I delved into the kink world, I decided Ash was a perfect name. A little androgynous, a name I've come to identify with outside of Pokemon, could be short for Ashley, which is one of my favorite female names. It's also a phoenix metaphor, not just rising from the ashes of my not so good childhood, but wearing the ashes as a lesson, a warning, a message.

But Ash is still a very commonly used name, so on most platforms there's already an Ash staking claim to my sacred name. Thus i attached an adjective relating to my first kink. So began the legend of Messy Ash. And my friends took to calling me Ashy. that is how MessyAshy came to be.

Baloo has always been an inspiration to me, and something to grow towards for one day I want to be just as relaxed and joyful in everything I do. Also, bears have just the most adorable ears, and their chubby, fluffy physique only adds on top of that! I like to think that in kink I have achieved a level of enthusiastic playfulness to earn that name!

I can't share much behind my usual name on here. Snoek, it's a fish but I know that's not the reason I chose it.. it has been exactly a year since I chose it and still dont know... At least it has made it so that I can now be princesses odly fish like carrier pigeon/ parrot

Mine was a nickname from a random Welshman in Uni, he wa hearing everyone's names/nicknames and spouted his own versions, it's also similar to my Mother's maiden name which I kind of prefer to my actual surname. Now I use it as a gamer name primarily and people think it has something to do with Minecraft that I've never played :D

I was creating an account on that Other Site and came rather suddenly on the requirement to come up with a username. I had no idea, so I tried all kinds of things but couldn't come up with anything that both meant something and looked cool, so in frustration I backspacebackspacebackspacebackspaced... without noticing that the pointer jumped and that my sausage fingers slipped over to the enter key...
Happily the result looks good - and is fun to try to pronounce! ☺️ I wouldn't change it for money!

So, I'm going to sound like a huge nerd, but I promise my name is more nuanced than "Oh I love Marvel and fantasy!"

My first name is the same as my fathers and is very common, and my middle name is a very unique one. I was a very large baby (and still am very tall), and for my middle name my parents debated with my current one or Thor. They decided against Thor, and went with my current name which I still love! However, I have always been a bit sad that Thor was never worked into my name somehow. I'm planning to add a second middle name of "Thoradin" later this year hopefully. Why Thoradin? It rolls a bit better with my name.

Of course, I am a huge nerd who always played a Paladin in WoW. I also have Scandinavian ancestry and tend to lean toward pagan spirituality. Also, I've never seen Thor from the Marvel movies...

This name is a character I had generated roughly 20ish years ago during the age of chat RP before it became more forum based with flash chats dying out rapidly. I use the name for most of my RP styles and DnD gameplay. People mistake it for a Kitsune all the time which is funny, but I am in no way a fox. I am a Dragon Lord from the 6th level of Hell.

I don't know if there is a big story behind the name.
When I signed up for gD, I was looking for something fitting to the topic instead of some generic name I would use as a gamertag or similar. Probably I was in the mood for some Dungeon play, so I chose the Dungeonmaster theme. Not much more to say about it.

The cookie monster theme started in an add thread a long time ago. We had a well established group at that time and were basically talking shit in these threads all day. Some day it was about cookies and I showed up with the cookie monster avatar. Then I became the cookie monster 😅

I just think cowboys are so cool lol, nothing super meaningful but I do also like that the name allows a little bit of androgyny, since I’m not a super feminine girl.

I'm not good at coming up with good screen names, so there is no deep story behind my name on here.

The first time I signed up to a kink related site, I wanted a separate email address for that kind of stuff. The site was named "Shackled Maidens", so I just took the first three letters of each word, swapped them around and thought "well, Maisha, that sounds like a name" and made a name and email address out of it.

Later on, I shortened it to Maish, because it appeared that Maisha made some people think that I am female.

The Shackled Maidens site doesn't exist anymore, but my screen name still does :)
