Resolved Low contrast on some text - readability issues

I've found it a little difficult to read the text in a few locations on the website, a couple examples below:

Hi @Beline Welcome! Switched the prefix to unsolved while I look into. Should have an update for you soon. Just to confirm this is only in dark mode correct?

Thanks! I'm in "system" which turns out is dark mode yeah. Just had a look in light mode and I'm also struggling, but for slightly different reasons, like the red number:

The strong blue/black combo is not for me, I so I'll settle on dark mode, but I think that one is more a personal preference.
Probably worth mention I'm dyslexic, the contrast might be giving me a harder time than others.

The text is much improved! Page numbers still give me trouble in both.

Sir's toy had the same thought about the contrast as soon as that banner was added, struggled greatly to read it

I'm not sure, I think it's the combination of small, thin numbers and low contrast, going serif might not help, it needs to be bolder or otherwise stand out more form the background/selected colours I think.

That's more comfortable, the styling now needs rejigging to match (Next, filters, mark read, watch and such) I still think the contrast is a little low, but I can read it okay now without strain.

It's definitely readable but a bit obnoxious, too big too bold for pages... Sir's toy thinks the colors are really the main issue, some colors just don't work well on top of each other. Sir's toy doesn't know if there are some limitation as to the shades you can pick but here is a suggestion she deems more pleasant

alright lol I will switch it back to the old size and adjust the colouring. I can make it anything I want. With enough keyboard magic anything is possible.

That square in the second one works also in Cyan if bring that shade into it is really important.

Readability is there, the shades are just not the most aesthetic combination and stick our from the rest of the forum in Sir's toy's opinion (mostly that dark purple is just not it there)
