Where do you all go for fun?

I feel like Kik isn’t the way anymore? It seemed to be the staple of gw but maybe times are changing.

I want to know where everyone goes for exhibitionist fun. I can’t work out if this site has no traffic or if Kik is just dead.

Telegram? Discord? What’s the strat?

Both Telegram and Discord started the year with purges in which (without any discernible rationale) they suddenly kicked out some naughty people and deleted some naughty groups. I have no idea where people went. (It happened at the same time when gD and KT closed.) I lost my entire digital network, all my contacts, all my communities. Thank God I remembered Butterfly!!

Kik is a mess. It can be slow, messages don't go through, and either they are not received on the other end or are just plain ignored. For right now it seems to still be the place to go. Sending pics or short videos is pretty simple and when it works, it works well.

It can be frustrating to sign up for a thread and get no responses. I get that. But KW is in its infancy. Tastes for threads and their content change with who's online and willing to play. Give this place time. We're building something great here.

kik in general has always been terrible to me... messages just stagnant for hours while you wait for delivery. in the middle of play time? awful timing. telegram seems to have a lot of spam... cant tell you how many people have sent me dick pics on there as a hello, and no idea where theyre getting my name discord is honestly the best app ive used in awhile

I expect you speak of the Android app? The Linux/Flatpack is a little selfish. It likes to gobble up memory and seems to want to update at least a couple of times per week, and for some reason the minimum window size varies from system to system?

To be fair discord has been a little shitty on my Samsung lately. Especially right after they've updated and doesnt wanna send or load received messages. No app is perfect really, it just seems to be the one I have less issues with.

I started with discord early this year. I think it was from an invitation by @WildCallie

I am happy with discord and the chat function. I basically gave up KIK. It is a mess. I see that in the Messenger forum there is a lot use of KIK. But I just stay away even some threads looks like fun.

Lot of those messenger threads could use direct message here on KW or private chat.

I'm mostly using telegram for fun. But I do still have kik around for some people, and I'm on discord as well.

as for the messenger threads, I just read "kik ..." as "any messenger you contact me at ...."
