Considering we have a lot of members signing up here to replace two specific forums, as well as those who are coming from places like Fetlife or Reddit, I thought I would give you the opportunity to share what you might be missing from your "home" site. Also feel free to share any ideas or features that you didn't have before but that you want to see!

Maybe we have already created it and you just don't know where to find it, or maybe its something we can help to create for you. Either way, share it here and we will see what we can do!

Anything from features, settings, to threads or sections! Name it here!

Probably everything I build there. My threads and Albums specifically. I had threads from about 15 years ago. It was always interesting seeing how "vanilla" I was back then compared to now.

Well, that's something they can't recreate here ;)

One thing that I noticed, also talking to others who joined recently, are the notification settings. Having this all toggled on by default, especially also the email notifciation for absolutely everything, is a bit annoying imo.
If you make a few posts without checking the settings first, everything is added to your watchlist, resulting in you being floated with emails from this site for every response (even if unrelated to your post) or reaction.
Imo a much better way of handling this, would be to toggle it off by default and instead guide the people to that section during the account creation, so that they can choose for themselves.

Also now in these times where a lot of people are coming over from getdare, a list of new members might be good. There are just very few you can see. Maybe having a longer list, similar to the staff and reaction score lists, would be good. I am sure many are still looking for previous contacts, and this would help them see better who joined recently.

I think like @Toybox I will miss being able to look back over past threads. There is something nice about being able to recall the journey I have been on. I think I am mourning the loss of other peoples content far more than the loss of my own. I loved hearing about other peoples adventures.

For me it is the people that make a site like this. Getdare was full of fun and interesting people. At the moment feel pleased every time I see a familiar name appear. I hope everyone will eventually find their way here.

I think its pretty easy to turn that off once you realize it is annoying you. It is harder for people to figure out it is an option and have to turn the settings on.

We do list the last 12 or so new people, and there is always a list of people who are active on the site. I am not sure it is worth the trouble to list more to be honest. Especially when growth slows down a bit.

It might be good to have a "lounge" type area for general non-kink discussion

Edit: Nevermind. I somehow skipped over the parlour section

Just posting this here ...

Well, I don't know if I missed the appropriate link in my profile, but I haven't seen the possibility of picture albums (I had 5 albums with almost 250 pictures on getdare), a list of new members, the possibility to pay contributions via paypal, a Master/slave area (on getdare that was the place where to look if you were searching your counterpart dom or sub) and a list of "new blogs" people publishes on their profiles.

We have a whole section called media for albums.

We have a live donate link if you'd like to contribute to keeping the lights on.

Under members there is a short list of new members who have joined. But a full list of members who are currently signed in can be found on the home landing page.

There is a personals section to search for "looking for" ads

Under blogs you can see all the blogs listed and use the search button to search via a specific user.

Sorry I am in bed recovering from surgery so I can't easily link you to those things but maybe @Jaro or @Inkwarden
Might be able to help me out
