To the gD refugees ...

Hi Friends,

I want to start by saying, thank you for being here. I really want this space to be fun, inclusive and safe. I want to build a community where we can explore kink together.

I want to keep this space positive and as drama free as we can. But I also wanted to address a few things.

Getdare was my home for 10 years. I met my husband, @Mr. Devious, and my long term sub, @Jaro, there. I learned about my Domme side, I gained confidence and experience. I have made so many friends there!

I devoted 8 years of my life to modding and admin duties. A lot of the time, on my own, being the only consistent staff member. Hours of thankless work to make it a fun community. It was a hard job, not making me any friends at times. There were some really tough moments throughout the years but it still just meant so much to me.

A few weeks ago, some stuff happened and I was heartbroken to find my mod status had been removed without communication. That for me was the straw that broke the camels back. And I decided it was time to move on.

Thanks to @Inkwarden, I was in a position to make this beautiful space.

I refuse to be petty or negative. I don't want to bash getDare or publically "spill the tea". I will not make members choose between the two sites. You are welcome here regardless of where you came from, or where else you spend your time.

What I do want to say is I'm sorry. I'm sorry to those who might also lose their home because they are supporting me, or exploring this community. That was never my intent. Please make the decision that makes you happy. I completely understand if that means you don't want to or can't associate with Kinky Wonderland.

To those who are still using getDare, please do not advertise for Kinky Wonderland through getdare. If you want to invite friends, please do so on a messenging app. The PMs on getdare are being monitored and censored for any mention of this site. Please do not get yourself in trouble unintentionally.

And lastly, to those who choose to stay here, regardless of the risk, I want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting and believing in me and this community.

I'm so surprised for no comments on this Blog, so thought I should write something.

For the longest time I logged into GD and found it hard to get into the site, there seemed to be fewer and fewer people there I wanted to engage with, a lack of good quality new posts that weren't Add Threads, no new games or people willing to devote much time to projects other than those who wanted self satisfaction...maybe a reflection of the world that people are becoming a bit more self centered than in previous generations...

So when I was invited to this site I had a new hope and I see the people here are the more serious type who engage properly and see this as a community again rather than a tool.

Now banned from GD, I see that as a benefit rather than an upset, because it has freed my wasted time on that site to focus more on something that can be a much greater place.

So Butterfly...firstly you did nothing wrong, on the contrary you did something great by starting this site! This has been needed for a long time and I wish it all the best, I will help where I can
Even if I'm not so into the scene these days and I rarely play I want to do my part to contribute and help this place grow, even in small ways

I'd only been on gD for about 5 or 6 years but it has become so unwelcoming and unresponsive. KW feels and is much more welcoming and thriving. GD is dead in my eyes.
