Well I’m Southern so I’m sure some of my “cultural” foods might shock some of you.
We have biscuits (a breakfast food)
We also have every casserole ever imagined as in anything can be a casserole and we don’t care if God forgives us.
There’s also grits, another popular breakfast food.
We also have chicken fried meats (steak, chicken). Popular fair foods are deep fried butter, Oreos, etc.
Cornbread is a popular side.
For dessert it’s pecan pie (it’s literally just sugar)
For my state, the specialty is BBQ (so good)
We also have seafood from the gulf and crawfish boils in the spring/summer
