So, I created this kink forum website a week ago ... ;) (I guess it's my turn to use this fun new feature that we have here!)

I am struggling with feeling guilty that a few people that I really care about are being shit on for the sole reason that they care about and support me.

How do I feel less guilty?

Firstly, you have nothing to feel guilty about. The guilt lies solely with the people who are shitting on your friends. I think the only way to feel less guilty is to talk to your friends, and be reassured that you have done nothing wrong *big hugs*

Reminds me of one of my therapist's thingies: hugging my tree as symbol for my own destiny, embracing it, and then turning the hands outwards, drawing a border to other people's destinies, including my loved ones. Accepting it's their destiny and they have to deal with it, in sympathy and empathy for them, but not in pain. Hard though. I don't want my friends are being mistreated and suffer.
