Having Trouble Creating an Account? Read This First
We want everyone to have a smooth experience when signing up—but sometimes, things behind the scenes may delay or flag your registration or first post.
To help keep our community safe, we use automated spam checks during account creation and posting. These checks quietly look at:
- Your IP address and email (compared to spammer databases)
- Common bot-like usernames
- Certain keywords or links in messages
Note: None of your information is ever submitted to these spam databases—we only check against them to help prevent abuse.If anything triggers the spam filter, your account or content may be held in a moderation queue. Don’t worry—this doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong! It’s just a precaution. A moderator will manually review and approve your content shortly if everything looks good.

Email Confirmation Issues
We’ve occasionally seen issues with certain niche email providers not receiving confirmation emails. While this is rare, it’s worth keeping in mind.
During registration, you’ll see this notice:
Some email providers may not receive confirmation emails.
Please use a more reliable provider like Gmail, Outlook, or ProtonMail.
If this isn’t possible, complete your registration and then contact us. We’ll manually confirm your account.
