For example, if someone contributed 20 edges, they should only be able to exchange up to 20 for their custom edge. It doesn't seem fair they get to "spend" edges that others contributed. My 2 cents worth.

I appreciate that. I feel that most people who posted, contributed a pretty decent amount over the 411 edges and 80 code words.

I was trying to be fair by valuing the difficulty of the edge. So I can't just convince people to trade in something easy to make the total number go down.
