👣 One step at a time | an Add Thread to get me away from my clothes 👣

Since doing 2,076 is cold weather is not viable, what should Callie do?

  • Wait until warmer weather (could be months)

  • Split steps into multiple, smaller walks (like 300 steps)

  • Something else (explain in comments)

Well, guys, not that I am completely surprised by this. I definitely had my fair share of runaway add threads back on GD.

But still... WTF!!!!!!! 😅 Thats like a whole freaking mile!

So, since I live in cold climate (below freezing atm) there are a two ways to go about it, though parhaps you can think of more:

1. Delay until weather becomes warm
2. Split it into smaller walks

Also, if this would have been a couple hundred steps, I would be walking in the public park. With so many, however, I am probably going to opt for a forest preserve of some kind. Thoughts? 😇

Waiting would probably be a good idea if it's below freezing.

I think both of those are fair. The smaller ones would probably be easier since warmer weather is pretty far away.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I kinda feel like you should do it as intended and wait for the weather to warm up especially if that's going to help push you.

But the other part of me thinks it's a lot more than you were thinking and I do care about your wellbeing too 🤔

If it's too much Callie should definitely split it up into shorter walks. Add threads are getting a lot of attention at the moment and I think a lot of people are getting more replies than they expected.

How about splitting it so you do half the steps as a series of smaller walks in the current weather conditions and the other half as one long walk when you aren't at risk of hypothermia.

I honestly kinda like this suggestion. Still got a challenge to contend with but less than all of it

Ofc your safety and wellbeing come first though
