Exposure Lottery

In the original game the loser/winner was only exposed to the other participants of that particular round (by email). That was what made the game special. Making a gallery - on some other site! - feels a bit foreign to the original idea. (But there are many ideas, many games...! No criticism implied!)
I probably should have elaborated more. What I was thinking of was keeping the core game as being exposed to the other participants (maybe not through Kik, that was a mess) and starting to add other extra rounds people can opt into. Like keeping the main game with a 1-10 ticket draw but having an optional 1-40 draw for the gallery where the odds are lower but the risk is higher.

Agree with this, I'd love to participate if the only risk is to be exposed to the others :)

Opt-ins are good and fun! But maybe focus on getting the basics working for now? Construct a simple and easily understandable, functioning system - prove that it works like the proverbial thing that works in every weather - and only then (when the initial interest starts to wane?) start offering increased excitement to those who want to... uh... spread their bodily parts.

Again: there are many games and this one is yours. I'm not criticising! (I would have joined in the first test run, but I was travelling - and I don't have KiK.)

I did enjoy his system where you could lower your odds of being revealed by adding in prespecified riskier images, or including face. Essentially lowering the odds, but making it worse if revealed.

I was actually going to bring this up. Someone got in touch with me and had a copy of that old spreadsheet that they shared with me, so maybe that part could see a return

Before we go adding new mechanics, I'd like to do one more simple round with the same rules to make sure things don't just blow up like last time. I'll get it sorted out and a new form up this weekend.

Round 2 is open! This one will keep the same basic system, but the entry numbers will be cut down from 10 options to pick to 5. This round will be open until next Saturday (Feb 21) at 3pm Eastern. At the end of that time, we'll do another public roll here and anyone who picked the number rolled will be exposed.

If you want to enter, go check out the first post of this thread!

Round 2 is going to stay open until about 5pm Eastern today. I got volunteered to help out some family, so I won't be home until then to close it. So far, we have 13 entries
