Previously i was able to set the color for the link to my likes and limits in my signature.
I am now unable to set a color for the link to my clothes and toys, it defaults to blue as soon as i attach the link to the text.

Yeah I just tested it, you're right, you can still do it by toggling the BBCODE and just adding all the text formatting inside the text part instead of at the end of the whole code as I just did with the last link I added in my signature.

Code:
[URL='https://kinkywonderland.ca/threads/clothes-and-toys.364/'][COLOR=rgb(147, 101, 184)]Clothes and toys[/COLOR][/URL]

You can try it like this and change the numbers of your liking until it's fixed if you'd like.

@MessyAshy I'm a little unclear on what the issue is. Your current signature shows your links as coloured. When I test this I just make the link then select the text and pick the colour with no issue.

@Inkwarden I'll try to explain

Because it is a new issue : the colors he chose are only on the first items of his list because he made them way back.

In the last item (Clothes and toys) the color is blue, a color that seems to be attributed by default as it refuses to apply the actually selected color, and that is a new issue, and it happens only on links (I'm not sure why it didn't happen fo you).

It happens seemingly because the BBCode for colors needs to be put inside the text part of the URL code to be applied, otherwise it seems that the default color that you coded takes over because it gets priority.

Here in forums if I try to color a link it is working because if I then switch to BBcode it looks like this :

Code:
[URL='https://kinkywonderland.ca/forums/'][COLOR=rgb(147, 101, 184)]forums[/COLOR][/URL]

But in our signature when we try coloring the linked text it puts the colors outside instead, like this :

Code:
[COLOR=rgb(147, 101, 184)][URL='https://kinkywonderland.ca/forums/']forums[/URL][/COLOR]

I hope that makes sense.

I just tested it again and it seems to be fixed, now if I hadn't saw it for myself just when OP posted I wouldn't be sure if there was truly an issue but there really was :LOL:

@Pluky In the screenshots I showed what is the easiest way to insert a link and how to colour it. I'm not sure how it changed. Doing those steps doesn't resolve the issue?

Steps

1. Insert link

2. Put link information and text for the link.

3. Link is auto selected pick colour you would like.

4. Profit

This will now look like the following in bb code

Perhaps I'm just confused about what changed?

This seems to be a weird inconsistent issue. Pluky sent me a video. I pushed a change I believe should fix the issue though.

Switched back to work in progress. @MessyAshy Please me know if you still are having the issue.
Nothing has changed on my end, except the color on my first link is now also default blue.
The step by step process you posted is exactly what i did, but the colors simply aren't taking.

This is how my edit screen looks after attempting to color the link. ^^^

^^^ And this is how my signature looks now below a post.

Could you tell me what color you're going for ? I can give you a temporary way to have it that you just need to copy and paste if you want.

More awake now, i think i got your solution. Now in my edit screen it does look right once i fiddled with the code a bit. It did the thing where the color and link code were in a different order, so once i fixed that it was all good in the editing screen.

It is however still a default blue link under my posts.

Oh noes you're right, I just noticed mine is all blue too now, I assume Inkwarden must be in the midst of working on it and that's why we might be getting some mid process issues.

Not exactly, you had to edit the code manually to get the desired effect, the problem where the buttons will not put the code in the right spot automatically kinda remains. I think he's working on it.
