I'm a crafter! I minored in ceramics in university, which was awhile ago now. Since graduation I've shifted almost entirely to various types of fiber art due to its portability and relatively low levels of dust and toxic chemicals. I've done loads of crocheting, but I've also dabbled in so many other things. I can sew, needle felt, embroider, do other needlework, make a rug (with two different techniques!), knit, weave, spin yarn, and tunisian crochet. Right now I'm re-knitting the sleeves from a sweater I thrifted that had uncomfortable sleeves. I also have a larger project of un-spinning terrible commercial yarn and making it into better yarn. I also have started but not going anywhere: a scarf, bargello samplers, and a beautiful chocolate brown fleece to spin. I have the materials and plans for but haven't started a welcome mat and blanket for myself. I made my brother and sister-in-law a blanket for their wedding. It was the same pattern as a blanket our parents have.

OOOEEEEHHHHH AMAZING!!!!! Loovvee the blanket, and the hobbies!!

I'd consider myself a nomad craftsman. I tend to develop interest in a lot of different hobbies, complete one or two projects and move on. And from time to time when the stars align I revisit one of my old hobbies for another project.
That being said, what exactly have I done throughout the years?
- I have sown a couple of books with different materials. Started with paper, moved onto synthetic leather with embossed motives, sown onto motives and lately embroidered the leather before binding
- I create creatures out of clay (not the pottery clay). My favorite would be an owlbear from Dungeons and Dragons. Also did digital modeling, but moved away from that
- I've made a couple of candles. Either with carving them, or pouring the wax into a silicone mold (previously created as a clay creature)
- I crocheted a couple of different simple things like an entwined worm that functions as a Christmas ornament now
- I have sketched a couple of pictures. Since I am bad with colors, usually just pencil drawings with shading
- And finally I have handsown a couple of clothing pieces without the use of patterns, which was really fun
- If that's considered art or crafts, I also write stories or code ;-)

I would love to get more into leatherworks (e.g. To create medieval armor) , but I don't have the right space or tools to work with them right now.

  • do you like to craft?
I do!
  • what is something that often annoys you while crafting?
Poor lighting. I struggle with proper lighting in my spaces.
  • what are your favorite kinds of arts/ crafting?
Painting has always been a lot of fun for me.
  • what art/craft can you do the best?
I don't think I can do anything best haha. But I just like to experiment.
  • do you ever mix kink and craft/ art? if so, in what way?
Not really. I have had tack pads in my bra or nipple clamps on while crafting before for a task, but otherwise I usually don't mix.
  • what is the think you are proudest of making?
I have been working on a disney tile series on ceramic tiles. I am really proud of that project.
  • what is something you wish you could make?
I wish I could crotchet.
  • what is something you would make if you had an unlimited budget?
Hmmm, this one I am not sure of. I think I would make a craft a dream crafting space haha
  • have you ever got paid for something you made?
I have sold a few things that I have made
