I think it would be a suitable punishment to have the puppy eat the next meal from a bowl on the floor. Just to remind it, it is a puppy and not like the humans.

I do like your thinking but with the living situation know to me that task is unavailible, I do know that cuz I also gave that same task once and afther some barking and explaining it came to the conclusion that it was better not to do that one. although I would still have her eat or drink more out of bowls
