But then I thought: don’t be a chicken! So I went ahead now anyway.
I quickly stripped nude and put on my sleeping mask, and set the timer for 1:25 (so I would for sure have 80 full seconds actually blindfolded after starting the clock and pulling the blindfold down). I decided to add quite an extra risk; I would have to shut the door behind me! It locks automatically, and that meant, that if I heard someone about to open their door, it would only be a second before they stepped out in the hallway and saw everything in it, and it would probably be at least 3-5 seconds for me to react, rip the mask off, get up, scan my key chip, and the door to unlock, so I could escape into hiding, meaning that I would be much more likely to get caught than with an open door next to me!
Anyway, I laid down, started the clock, and pulled down my blindfold
The first ~20 seconds went fine, but then I heard the guy living at the very end of my end of the hallway talking fairly loudly, meaning that he was probably close to his door! And who was he talking to? I haven’t seen his girlfriend yet, but judging by the heels I can always hear when she walks by, I assume she is super hot
I also heard the clinking of plates. What if they were about to come out in a second to go to the kitchen and do dishes?? Let’s just say my heart was POUNDING in my chest for the remaining time! and I did consider chicken out, ripping off the sleeping mask and escaping into my room halfway through, but then I was like “come on, it’s only a minute and 20 seconds after 11pm, and I’m RIGHT outside my door, I really can’t be such a chicken!”.So I forced myself to stay!
