What's the difference between?

What is a set of kinks that you either always get mixed up or don't understand the difference between? Or maybe it is one that you see others get wrong all the time. If you know the difference, explain it to us! If you don't, maybe somebody else could help.

For ex. Humiliation v. Degradation, Littles v. Age Play etc.

For me degradation is a more extreme version of humiliation. Humiliation makes me feel embarrassed and may make me blush. Degradation makes me feel filthy and worthless.

What actions are linked to that would differ from person to person.

For me a humiliating acts, for example, would be having me dress up silly, put on makeup and do the chicken dance before an audience of you and some of your friends.

For me a degrading act would be calling me derogatory names like 'dirty little toe sucker' or 'you filthy whore', while spitting in my face and then peeing all over me.

But degradation is not necessarily harder than humiliation. For me in these examples, the humiliation acts would actually be harder. But in many cases I enjoy degradation more.
