What is drop?
In my experience and opinion drop is not unique to sub/dom bdsm it's anything intense the brings emotion and endorphins and adrenaline it's your body trying to go back to the norm after a extreme experience be emotional or physical. How does one go from being tied up hanging over a fire and whipped and than the next day go to work? It messes with you sometimes just like going to a big music festival with lots of partying it's hard to return to the day to day and feel normal and feel like you fit in with your surroundings and can make you feel depressed, tired maybe physically sick.
( I hope that made sense and I'm not just remodeling)
Have you experienced drop before?
Yes
What does drop feel like to you?
For me mainly spikes of depression which I already deal with I become more antisocial not wanting to be around anyone or do anything sometimes I find my self just staring into a mirror wondering if I'm good enough and other things and feeling
How do you prevent drop?
I don't I let it do what it does I don't experience it much anymore but the times I do it's almost comforting after
How can you support a partner goi
I never really had a experience of trying to support someone through it normally everyone I know that has gone though it you just let them be. If it's someone who suffers from pre existing depression than maybe be more hands on and just check on them a lot but I do know a lot of people have diferant opinions on it.
What helps you survive a drop?
Snacks,bleeding
I Hope this didn't read as random rambling
