1. I am 5!
My little age spans between 3 and 7 most of the time. It really depends on the head space I am, what I am doing and who I am with. I usually just say "I am 5" because it is right in the middle. Even my family knows I am a 5 year old at heart.
I don't pretend to be 5, this is just who I am. I have a childlike personality. I get excited easily, I get grumpy and pouty when tired. I need extra cuddles, and if you even mention Christmas, you better be prepared for a whole lot of excitement!
2. I am a grown up!
I know I just said I am 5, but in reality I am 35 years old. I have a job, a car, am married, and have my own furbabies. I am very responsible and take on a lot of things.
However, I am still a little at all times. I could be in the middle of a huge project at work and grooving out to Disney music, or spot something shiny and get super excited.
3. I am a carrier of craft herpes
Glitter is life. I have car glitter just in case of emergencies. Anybody who spends time with me has to know that they are going to be infected with glitter at some point. You can spank me all you want: marks disappear, but glitter is forever!
4. I am a princess
I am a princess and you are my loyal subject. This means I am always right and always get my way. Even when you think you are winning, you aren't. Cause the princess is always right.
5. I do NOT like being sticky
Seriously! You will need to scoop the ice cream for me, or open up my freezee. I do not do things that can potentially make me sticky. That maple syrup has to be poured very carefully into a container so that it doesn't infect my fork. And if god forbid I get some on me, you better be prepared with a wet wipe to clean it up stat!
6. My stuffies get priority sleeping arrangements
If I have to choose between my stuffies fitting in the bed, or you .... you don't want to know the answer. Yes I need that many stuffies. No, I don't care that he is stuffed underneath the covers. I like it there.
7. DO NOT TOUCH EEYORE
Actually, do not touch most of my stuffies. They are mine. I don't share with Daddies! If you want to touch, you need to ask me very nicely.
8. Back scratchies are the best
Is it even really bedtime without getting nightly back scratchies? I can tell when you aren't really paying attention, you have to stay focused and scratch me in all the good places.
9. I am not ticklish!
I promise I am not. Just take my word for it. You don't have to test it out, really. I wouldn't lie to you.
10. It's not fair to make me blushy
Saying naughty things to me, or making me do something like go pee with you in the room is mean. It should be considered torture and punished by having glitter dumped in your pants. I don't care if you think it makes me look cute. Not nice mister!
11. I don't need a bedtime
or any rules at all really. I am a good girl. (Ok, so maybe this one is a lie. But I am never going to admit it!).
12. Spankings are NOT a punishment
I love being spanked. They aren't a good deterrent to get me to be good, cause I really like spankings. You will have to find another way to teach me a lesson if I am bad.
13. I am a good girl
I really am. I might whine and complain. Sometimes I will stomp my foot or call you names, but really I am a good girl. I like to make you happy and proud.
14. Calling me "good girl" or "princess" will make me melt
Especially if you use the word "my" to show me that I am yours. swoons
15. I hate you, means I love you
Sometimes it is hard to express your feelings as a little. Especially when your Daddy is doing something like making you go to bed when you would rather stay awake for just one more episode. or when he says you can only have 5 m&ms and you are sure you will die if you can't have at least 6. Sometimes a "thank you" or an "I love you" gets lost and is replaced with a grumpy pout, a stomp or even "I hate you".
16. I need attention
My little side is needy. I will admit it. I need love and attention. I need to know I am worth your love and affection. I need you to praise me, touch me, cuddle me, spend time with me. Ask me about my day. Listen to me. And in return, I will do the same to you.
17. Stories make me sleepy
I swear we read "The Gruffalo" 100 times before I finally got to hear the end.
18. I need help
Some things are just too big for a little. Like when I get tangled up in my shirt when I am trying to take it off. Or when my necklace gets stuck to my towel. Somethings are too tight, or hard, or high or hot ... I need your help. Life as a little can be downright hard sometimes!
19. Cuddles and chocolate fix everything
No matter how bad things are, chocolate and cuddles from daddy can fix everything.
20. I am picky
I do not like cooked carrots, but raw ones are delicious. I don't like the sauce touching the rest of my plate. Olives cannot be anywhere near my plate or I won't eat. Beans are not food - unless they are jelly beans.
