Hello all,

So I’m sure it comes as no surprise to anyone but males stripping off their cloths to show off their naked bodies is kinda common. But, what isn’t common is people that want to see the males naked. So when males go to an appropriate place to get naked or post nudes they often get no attention, comments or feedback.

Now from a male (and for others like me) that do like to get nude for all to see, what can help us get the attention we are looking for. I always want to be respectful and not send unsolicited nudes but even in place like fetlife where nudes are welcome the response for most males is almost nonexistent.

- works quite good - such as black/white, or black/white but only one specific or special thing is in colour.

Mirror:
- of course while respecting your own boundaries, you dont even necessarily have to show much, but finding a good position or even reflection of your body might make the picture stand out

Clothing, Material:
- as in choose a nice kind of material that you might have at home, like a blanket or silk , cover a part of your body with it and try to test out what would look good to you

Playing with light:
- as in turn off the light, and try to use the light from outside such as street lamps or some smaller lamp that you might have at home, that will only "light up" (not on fire), a specific part of your body
- candle, if youre scared then try battery-kind of candle, turn off the light, put yourself into a special position and play with the light and shadows on your body and your Environment

Combination of everything i mentioned at once.

This some pretty good insight. I do try to keep fit but maybe I'm not paying enough attention to my poses, lighting, background etc. I also like your prespectice on the amount of male nudity. Maybe i need to do more (follow the suggestions on her) and improve the quality of my nudes.

I agree with you 100% not all good nudes are from the super fit. I had a six pack at a time but now rock more of a dad bod. I think like many suggested it the pic quality and have to standout to the large amount of male nudes out there.

Well groomed and taken care of, flattering angles and lighting can help a lot. The grooming is something I cannot stress enough. Thanks for the feedback. I think these are all very important parts of taking nudes. I will ensure you grooming and hygiene are top on my list. I keep shaved and groomed on the regular. I never let things get too long but if I know I’m taking pics or if I’m like to be getting naked I shave, trim and groom. I also shower in the morning and at night. I would also never walk around with a shitty ass.

The suggestions you make for poses I’m definitely going to try and see if it get my nudes more attention. I might have to go back on Reddit and try the groups you mentioned. While I agree with @Aurario that hygiene is Very Important, pubic hair is not something to be ashamed of. But people tend to be very judgy about looks when that's all there is to go on, and nude photos are literally only about looks. And I believe @WildCallie is correct about men being more active on these types of sites. Men tend to be both less attracted to men and more attracted based on looks. Not that women dislike looking at attractive people, but it's not their primary way of finding someone. I'm a queer man and my primary attraction is also not visual.
