I can reassure you, that happens to me quite often too. I'm especially familiar with those "naked in the garden" incidents, and I immediately regret them afterwards, hoping that no one saw anything. But do I stop doing it? Of course not.
It happens. I play more in the mornings and it can be very hit or miss as far as the involvement from others on Kik.
