Inspired by the events of this morning where my arse decided to swallow a new plug whole, which necessitated me rooting about to recover it, (I'm only getting anchor style plugs going forwards.. thank goodness I didn't need to visit a hospital :ROFLMAO: )

Has anything gone wrong in the past for you during kink or sex? What happened? How did you handle it, things you would change, or perhaps it was just an unexpected big turn off? Was it just a good laugh or something serious others could learn from?

Starting myself, it's almost a health PSA. Probably my 3rd or 4th time with my first partner; was an incredibly intense evening, her having sucked the very soul out of me. After, we'd both rolled over in that post orgasm/physical tiredness, promptly falling asleep, a few hours later I realised I'd still had some significant swelling and discomfort from below.

Peaking under, my foreskin had become stuck back, head erect and shaft soft, no amount of lube/soap and persuasion could get it back to normal, turns out I had mild "phimosis" (Something Sex ed failed to ever teach me!!) Hardly able to walk, we took an emergency trip to ER at 4am. It was like a big itchy highly sensitive and painful doorknocker bouncing around in my pants every step. After sharing too much for comfort to a nurse, a handsome doctor having a tug on my enflamed head and soft jellied staff, the final option was two nurses putting a needle in the end to drain the blood so I could retract it again. Far less sexy than the movies would have you believe. Lightheaded and somewhat relieved I went home with a list of care products to recover. I still have a slight scar mark from the needle to this day.

They'd recommended circumcision, but I opted for the slower path of stretching it out, after which I'm more or less normal. It could have been caught early before being hospitalised; if sex education wasn't so afraid of graphic details, I'd have realised something was wrong, rather than it being "natural variation"!

I will just link my blog on enema mishaps haha

This is an excellent thing to curate in a list! Until I have done that, here's what's gotten wrong for me off the top of my head:

Nerve damage due to temperature play and a motion just a smidge too quickly. Yep, that one lasts.
A plethora of cuts, abrasions, and bruises. Impact play has had an impact. This is not really as much "going wrong" rather than "could have gotten better", I accept the damage as long as it heals properly.
Mental trauma due to extreme psychological play in three different occasions.

Near misses:
Rope jam during self-suspension. My trusty scissors were almost out of reach. Never go lax on safety equipment!
The blowtorch incident. We do not talk about the blowtorch incident. What to learn from it: Fire is dangerous, be extra careful even if it is as simple as handing something to your partner.
Loss of circulation and nerve pinches from ropes moving while struggling. Many of those.
Prepared a bucket of goo for sticky, hot, WAM play. Thought it had cooled down enough to be safe. Just for funsies I broke out a thermal camera to see there were some major hot spots left. Always mix your hot goo thoroughly!

Breach of consent:
Impact play in the genital region. This is a hard limit that I did communicate beforehand.
Disregard of safeword. Luckily people underestimate how hard and high I can kick - tying up my hands is only so effective.
I only consider this a minor infraction but a bunny shared pictures we took of them without asking me first. We never explicitly agreed that these were to be made public.

It was this picture. Two mistakes were made.
One: I didn't use any of the knots I had been reading about, I used overhand knots, and they got too tight.
Two: I didn't check where my scissors were... turns out I had to crawl to the other end of the house.

But overall I'm still proud of the fact that I was simultaneously tie-er, tied up, and photographer.

Such a pity not to have a camera rolling for your self rescue mission  Glad you got out of it okay! Great job on the pic looks cute :)
