So there I was just minding my own business when this certain someone accidentally nerd-sniped me into something new!
Just reading about tail plugs set something off in my brain and I just HAD to try it.
The making!
Crafty as I am a plan has formed quickly after. I grabbed my steel plug, it is a fine one, once had a gem on its back which I never cared for much, removed it some time ago only to find a threaded hole underneath. What might this be good for? Never bothered with anything but this was just the perfect opportunity.
A quick trek to my work bench, plug in hand, I assembled the gang. Now what kind of thread is this? It certainly was not cut well so I would probably have to redo it anyway. Shockingly I discovered that I have more imperial sized taps than I got metric ones, so that is not going to happen. (Also need to get myself a proper tap and die set!) Alright then, plan B. Adding a screw was just going to be the first step anyway so let us see what I have to work with.
Found some armature (fancy way of getting around the aluminum/aluminium debate) wire and a long piece of bright pink artificial fur, 6cm strands. It was either this, some thin copper wire (Which I will NOT put anywhere near my insides), spring steel, or titanium. Titanium is surprisingly brittle in that form, otherwise I might just have used that one and completely disregard just how expensive it was for such a silly experiment. Zip ties and duct tape will do the rest, as per usual.
Now I have an assortment of rather phenomenal drill bits, but for 6mm holes I only have the cheapest ones you can imagine, in fact you could probably get a better drilling experience with fingernails. But alas, they would make a nice oversized hole for the wire to rest in, all is well and so it turned out. A dab of hot glue and a good joink later I had attached wire to my plug. Attaching the fur was a simple matter of taping the plug end so it would not slip, wrap it around, and secure with zip ties aaand presto. Damn that looks juicy!
Also I want to point out there are perfectly good reasons why I just happen to have these things lying around! It is not weird!
First time with a tail.
Well not precisely the first time, but first time attaching one this way! I have worn a decent number of plugs over the years, but never one with so much uh.. stick-out. I never expected it to feel so different from a regular plug, but recently having tried a hook for the first time I suppose I should have seen it coming.
Of course even though it is alumin(i)um having a good meter of it sticking out away from you does have some weight, or rather momentum, to it. Wiggling around, or even slightly shifting pose really gave me a good stimulation! This might be dangerous if it catches on something, I should probably use some breakaway mechanism, and lighter wire.
I shifted and moved in front of a window - it is night out so this makes for a good mirror. And what a sight it was! There is this adorable pink fluffy thing sticking out of me like it belongs there. Truly an amazing feeling. A bit on the long side and I did not yet cut the artificial fur to length so it dangled off the end a bit, but whatever - it looks so hot.
Took a moment to calm myself from these sensations coming in, but when I finally got a grip I decided to play around with it more. When I put it in the tail touched the floor, but now it is time to put it up, and perhaps make a cute little heart shape with it. That is what the armature wire got its name from anyway! (Being adjustable, not the heart shapes in particular!)
Got it up, bent it in shape - mirrors are quite a useful tool - I let go to admire it a bit.
Now pause your reading and imagine what happened. Picture it.
So yeah, physics being physics and plugs being round that lovely heart I placed to the side of me did not stay there for long. For a moment there my butt turned into a frigging crank and like they did with old cars, that off-center piece of adorableness fell back to the floor, rotating the plug inside me a good quarter turn and really kicking on my engine! Using lube would probably have been a good idea. Or not, either way I got into a state of bliss from how it felt, looked, and how I just made that
I just knew I had to share this experience so here I am now sitting in a slightly different position, hugged by my new tail and delighted to do just that!
So the moral of the story: Try new stuff! You never know what delights wait just around the corner!
