Hello everyone!
Being a getDare refugee, who is still processing the loss of a site of which I became a member in 2009, I am still adapting to this new space (as I believe is also the case for many of you and for the site itself
).
With this being my very first post on here (I will make another one shortly after, if I can find the discussion/suggestion section), I will also use this opportunity to thank Butterfly and any other involved personnel for putting the time and effort into this new community!
I hope we all will help build it up to be as useful and fun as getDare (or even better!).
MY ACTUAL PROPSAL FOR THIS THREAD:
Hundreds of brilliant dares were lost with the shutdown of getDare. My hope is to use this thread to build up a small library of the ones that can be recovered. So that means:
- Search your old phone screenshots, emails, chat/messenger/kik conversations, notes, etc.
- Find what you can and post it as comments in this thread, so that others might get to enjoy them in the future!
I personally hope to see some of the excellent public/outdoor or online exposure dares recovered 
).
GUIDELINES
- DARES ONLY
— I am aiming to create a sort of archive for lost dares, and smalltalk and comments would clog up the thread, so please save those for private chat or discussion threads
- ORIGINALITY AND CREDIT
— Please only post dares that are from getDare. You may have a fantasic and creative idea for a new dare, but that deserves its own thread
You ARE allowed to edit the wording of dares to make them easier to understand, but whether you do this or copy paste them, please credit the original author, if you know their username 
- ONLY SAVE WHAT IS WORTH SAVING
— While you can add both dares posted directly as a thread from getDare or complete dares written as comments, don’t bother with incomplete or too basic stuff. “Take off your shirt” is not a creative work that needs to be mentioned here
(Btw. I also do encourage people to post lost getDare dares as stand alone threads on KW if they are really good!
and might do so myself, if I can recover any. This is just meant to be a big archive of “artefacts”, that one could always opt to go to. Doesn’t mean that there aren’t dares that deserve their own spotlight!)
